Ozmosis Business Solutions

The folks at Ozmosis Business Solutions needed a web site to express their social media expertise. To that end, we developed a series of illustrations to enhance their company's brand and represent the various services they perform. read more »

We displayed these illustrations prominently in a marquee fashion and utilized Ozmosis' orange signature color to direct viewers to their custom ajax and jquery-powered contact form.

Yellow Dubmarine

May 2010

The Yellow Dub dudes came back for a second serving of our web design soup when they asked us to build a solo Yellow Dubmarine site. The mission this time--channel the psychedelic visual style of the Beatles' 1968 animated film "Yellow Submarine." read more »

We set out to do just that, with a series of illustrations casting each of the band members as a colorful 60's submariner. We also sought to showcase the band's "dubtastic" live act with a large central video and rounded out the site with some custom icons for their social networking links.

WOO / Yellow Dubmarine

A group of musicians with a case of multiple personality disorder, WOO and Yellow Dubmarine are all the same members of two different bands. WOO makes original reggae tunes and Yellow Dubmarine plays dub Beatles covers. read more »

A tricky task it was to tell the tale of two entities both together and apart. Our solution: a single-page layout organized into three separate columns and saturated with custom illustrations appealing to these musicians' particular aesthetic tastes. And yes, the background changes color.

Rent The College Park House

February 2010

With 10 bedrooms and four stories, it's an annual hassle for this house's owner to find large groups of college students interested in renting. He called on us to ease the process with a custom website and targeted marketing campaign. read more »

We focused intently on information, usability, and functionality, and allowed professional-quality photographs, provided by the house's owner, to create the site's look and feel.

The cornerstone of this project was a strategically designed website. Its primary goal was to capture prospective tenants' contact information. Secondarily, it was to serve as the best possible way for interested parties to explore the house. We wagered that presenting all the information up front would increase the quality of responses, i.e. the likelihood of those who contacted us knowing what they wanted, what they were getting into, and providing us all the information we required.

Our approach was extremely successful--within the first two days of our classified ad's run in the local paper, we received several serious group inquiries looking to rent out the entire house. The owner found himself in the desirable situation of getting to choose the tenants he wanted while expending minimal effort to gather information and process requests.

Audiocandy+Radio, is an open source, open mic webcasting community. Entrepreneur and music lover Paige Dearing's vision is bold: an online space where a community of music lovers can shape and grow itself through broadcasting, blogging, and sharing music. read more »

To fulfill Paige's bold vision for ac+r, Squiid designed and built a custom theme on the WordPress blogging engine. It allows for DJ and show profiles, categorized content aggregation, streaming audio, comments, and live-blogging during broadcasts.

Squid CEO Shaun Robinson has worked with NetHope for four years, during which he's designed, built and managed a new website, donations processing system, email marketing system, social networking platform, and Microsoft Exchange server.

Companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Dell, and Google have partnered with NetHope and its members and used these systems extensively. Nethope delivers a lean, effective communications response to its partners and members.
